about

“Rise”, the second single from Catch The Breeze’s forthcoming album, kicks off with energetically beating drums and throbbing bass. Piercing notes on the guitar are answered by melodic runs on the bass: “You better rise. My heart will listen” If the first single, “Echoes from the Underground” was majestic and contemplative, “Rise” is an engaging and close-up call for action.

“Rise” taps into the trio’s history of delivering tight and efficient Indie Rock and bears the clear hall marks of being a Catch The Breeze song: synergetic musicality, a gorgeously melodic bridge and best of all: a killing hook of a chorus. As veterans on the Danish underground scene for Alternative Rock, this is a clear demonstration of a band who know what they are doing.

The music was recorded live in Tapetown Studio, Aarhus, capturing the full energy of the band, while the vocals was recorded in Heyman Studios, Copenhagen. Everything has been expertly mixed by Christian Alex Petersen (Marching Church, Mew, Liss and others) at Grapehouse Studios, Copenhagen.

Catch The Breeze is Aage Kinch (vocals, guitar), Lars Madsen (bass) and Andreas Bund- gaard (drums). They have united their musical forces for the past 22 years and are con- stantly exploring and developing their evocative and vibrant music.
